It was a windy day in Chicago (duh), and I had just let my hair air-dry after showering off the sweat from doing yoga in the sauna upstairs. We were staying at my in-laws’ condo for the week and were headed out to walk to sushi for lunch. I didn’t have time to style my hair, so I grabbed a scarf. I dressed in loose dark denim pants, a white long-sleeve boat-neck top with white tube socks and black loafers. And on my head, I wore an emerald headscarf¹ paired with black sunnies.

When I purchase a piece of clothing or accessory, I always consider the different ways I can wear it. I have, so far, worn that same emerald scarf in four different ways. (They really come in handy when there’s little time to style the hair.² ) In her Bitesize #1 issue, Julia shared a headscarf look that I love to wear. So, it sparked the idea to share all the ways that I love wearing my scarves.³
